DL#5 HW#3
Reviewing other peers' papers made me realize that I need to better organize my paper. Mine might be too vague as of right now. I enjoyed reading the different topics people will be writing about. I didn't edit everybodies, but I did edit Alexis's, Daniel's, and a little bit on Tegan's. Jason Bloom and Jessica Williams edited my paper. I kind of feel that tey over analyzed it and edited it too much. My ideas aren't supposed to be changed around and extra ideas added. I do need to make sure that I don't over-generalize issues. Jessica commented that our research paper needs to be controversial. However, I do believe my topic is controversial and we are just supposed to research something we are interested in. In Turnitin.com, the program did not highlight anything in my paper.

I agree with you. Alcoholism is a very controversial issue. I think people don't see it as an issue because it is legal. But people die from alcohol related accidents just like they do from drugs.
From personal experience I have to say, alcoholism has created a lot of controversy in my life.
I agree that alcohol misuse and alcoholism is contorversial it just wasn't clearly stated in your paper. If i remember correctly the reason you said it was contorverisal was not really controversial. You just needed to work on defining why alcoholism is controverisal.
