Ch. 3: Writing a Research Question
Who is affected by the abuse of alcohol?
What are the dangers of drinking alcohol?
When does alcohol abuse become a problem to a person's life?
Where can people go to for specific treatment of alcoholism?
How does our society promote drinking?
Why are some people more susceptible to becoming alcoholics than others?
Should alcohol be looked at more as a deadly drug?
Would the problem be not as huge if there was never a Prohibition?
I am writing for a large audience. Everyone needs to learn of the dangers of drinking when they are young teens, and the information needs to be reinforced past that. If someone does have a problem, they need to know what they can do about it and where to go for treatment, as well as their family because they are just as much involved. Another question that needs to be looked at is: Why is alcohol legal when it kills more people than the illegal drugs? Not many people look at alcohol in that way, but it needs to be addressed. Other countries don't have the problems with dependency of alcohol like America does either.
