DL2 Annotated Bibliography

The Real ID idea is very interesting. Illegal immigration is a huge problem in our country, especially in AZ. Making it harder for illegals to obtain identification and driver's licenses is the right thing to do. Researching this topic would be interesting to see how government officials will do this effectively. I would narrow it further to see how this would effect everyone, including the law-abiding citizens.

The Democrats in Congress article was very interesting. Since Democrats currently take up a majority of Congress, they have started investigating the wrong-doings of the White House. The information that has come up shows that the attorney general scandal would have been hidden if democrats didn't investigate. Being a liberal/democrat myself, this would be an interesting topic to research and learn about. I would narrow it to include things the White House and Pres. Bush have done to go against what congress is shooting for.

After reading the short article of East Timorese Vote for Parliament, I clicked on the article United Nations & Global Security. This article was about how the UN can bring peace for today. It is interesting to read about how the UN and the US can successfully bring peace to the world. The article states that the United States failed to notify the UN when first attacking Iraq after Sept. 11. It would be interesting to research how the UN will be able to adapt to new changes in the world since the ways of war are extremely changed since WW2 when it was created.
